I immediately took my son to the hospital where he was assessed. This was filmed approximately 4 hours after the event took place\r

WHY DID WE UPLOAD A TRAGIC EVENT?\r
We are family vloggers as part of our job, this means documenting our lives: the good, the bad and the ugly and this happened to be the bad and the ugly.we have since kept it up because we receive hundreds of messages from people telling us that this video helped them prevent an attack in their own home\r

WAS OUR BABY LEFT UNATTENDED?\r
-never. As mentioned in the video, I was sitting in between Woofy and my son when the attack took place. We are responsible parents and never left our son alone with Woofy ever (before or during this event)\r

WHAT DO WE MEAN BY AN UNPROVOKED ATTACK?\r
-there was building jealousy between Woofy and our son. We were training Woofy to adapt to the change in the family, giving him extra love etc. but the jealousy continued. In retrospect, we shouldnt have waiting for something like this to take place before re-homing Woofy. He too is happier where he is now.What we mean by unprovoked was that in this particular event Forde did nothing to elicit or provoke an attack. This attack happened without anything causing it. FYI: as mentioned in the video, I was sitting in between them when the event took place so I can attest firmly that Forde didnt scare, hurt or provoke an attack\r

WAS WOOFYS ONE EYE A FACTOR?\r
-Woofy was very used to having one eye. You could approach him from his blind side and he never reed in fear or aggression. Furthermore the side that myself and my son were on was the side where Woofy had his eye so he could clearly see us. Because of this, we strongly feel that this was not a direct for.\r

WHY DID WE ASK FOR THUMBS UP?\r
-At the time of the event, we were inserting whats called calls to ion in ALL of our vlogs ( ie asking for a thumbs up). Also, we wanted to give our subscribers a way of showing their support without feeling the need to comment. In retrospect we FULLY acknowledge that this could come across as insensitive or in poor taste and we have since stopped placing these pop-ups on any of our vlogs. \r

WHY DID WE RESCUE A DOG WHEN WE HAD A BABY?\r
- we had Woofy for a LONG TIME before we had our son..we did not adopt him after our son was born\r

HOW IS OUR SON DOING NOW?\r
-Our son is left with a tiny scar that is barely visible. We continue to vlog our lives so if youd like, you can check out recent videos to see how hes doing now\r
