If you want the best airflow filter I would go with the Malossi Red Foam Air Filter. But remember hi flowing filter means less filtration so it more geared towards race use only! \r

The new exhaust is on and the bike is now tuned with the perfect main jet. Whats next? For many people, now would be the time to move on to transmission modifications. For others, they may invest on extensive engine mods such as going to a 70cc kit, changing pistons, installing pod filters. All of these mods are excellent choices but costs a lot of money and makes the bike less suitable for commute.\r
\r
For me, however, I have one final trick to squeeze extra power out of the engine without compromising useability. I need this bike to last and I also need this bike as a daily commute to and from work. I dont want to invest too much money into it in case my bike gets stolen or knocked over while parked. I want to ride the bike rain or shine. I also want to retain the original engines reliability to start up every time with just the push of the button. This final mod to the engine I am about to show you fits the bill for all of the above criteria while giving you a major power boost as a whole package to the Leo Vince ZXR Exhaust kit ( at the cost of a little more engine noise).\r

The 2005 Piaggio Typhoon equipped with the 49cc Hi-Per 2 Engine is now completely unrestricted and performs significantly better than stock for nearly no money. In the previous s we demonstrated that the scooter can perform much better with the brass restrictor removed from the Dellorto 17.5 PHVA Carburetor, unlike what others say about the brass restrictor serving to improve performance. Now, with the bike completely tuned, we have installed the LEO VINCE ZX-R Exhaust. This exhaust is becoming extremely rare and difficult to purchase because it has been discontinued and replaced with the lower model LEO VINCE TT. In the previous , we showed you how to install the exhaust and first ride review. Most aftermarket tuning exhaust that comes from Europe has a restrictor installed to comply with government regulations. Their instruction manual states that performance improvements gained from removing the restrictor would render the exhaust illegal for public use. Whats the point of getting an aftermarket pipe only to restrict its performance? With the restrictor removed, we will go ahead and install the exhaust to the bike (FINALLY). Sorry for taking so long as I like to add each mod step by step to understand how each modification improves (or worsens) the bikes performance.\r
