The game is the latest in the WWE 2Kand released on October 28, new North America and will be released on October 31, new in Europe for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, whilst it will be released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 18, new in North America and November 21, new in Europe. It was announced on July 14 that Sting would be the games pre-order bonus as two playable charers: One being the black and white Crow-inspired persona and the other being his surfer gimmick with the blond flattop hairstyle.[2] A collectors edition of the game was announced on August 4. It includes premium packaging, a collectable art card hand-signed by Hulk Hogan, an exclusive Funko Hollywood Hulk Hogan vinyl figure, a piece of the ring canvas from Hogans appearance on WWE Monday Night Raw on March 10, new, two playable pre-order launch-exclusive Hulk Hogan charers (nWo Hollywood Hulk Hogan and modern day Hulk Hogan), and the two playable Sting charers. There are only 25,000 collectors editions being made and they are only available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
