Trump: 'I Doubt' I'd Be President Without Social Media

President Trump recently credited social media for its role in his election victory.

President Trump has credited social media for its role in helping him become president.
"I doubt I'd be here if it weren't for social media," Trump told host Maria Bartiromo in a Fox News interview. He added that through Twitter and other platforms, he's able to bypass mainstream media and reach millions of people without any filter.
Talking specifically about his tweets, the president said they are "well crafted" and he is a person that "does well with that kind of thing."
Many, however, would disagree with Trump's view of his own tweets given that he's often used Twitter to attack various people.
In response to criticism over his use of the social media platform, Trump wrote back in August, “Only the Fake News Media and Trump enemies want me to stop using Social Media (110 million people). Only way for me to get the truth out!”
He has also suggested in the past, if it weren’t for Twitter, he might not have won the presidency.
