Some might call this the base model, but I think you will see from our first impressions review that this is anything but a base model. \r

So what is different about the IS 250 from the IS 350 F-Sport AWD we looked at earlier? Or the IS Family video review we did from Alameda Island outside of San Fransisco? The IS 250 AWD offers you a slightly more fuel-efficient engine, decent power and all the luxury appointments you can find on the upper models with the 3.5-liter V6. In f, we might go as far as saying if you didnt ever drive the IS 350, you might not realize you want the extra power.\r

At about $47,000 the new Lexus IS 250 AWD offers many luxury appointments and the capability of All-Wheel Drive (AWD). The question is whether AWD, Navigation, heated and cooled front seats and a few more mpg will justify a price tag that is still pretty high. \r
