Bushrangers were the most dangerous outlaws in the 1800’s in Australia, this is the story of one of those men. Captain Thunderbolt would be the longest surviving Bushranger, and one of only two men who would escape from the notorious Cockatoo island prison. He was one of the few bushrangers to be married and the only one that would have his wife accompany him while he was on the run from police. To some he was a folk hero, to others a dangerous criminal.
