What we call trial is the struggle against this spell of dajjal. When you resist it, its effects will immediately wear off. But if you accept defeat, it will attack you. Exhaustion is like a vampire bat; it will drain your blood if you allow it. In other words, it will drain your energy, your life force. But if you stand up to it, it will run away from you. This is why Almighty God tells the Prophet (saas); "So when you have finished, work on." Inaction; people should resist the urge and persist in remaining active. They should not relent to inaction. They say, "I feel exhausted;" you are not exhausted, satan has descended upon you. When you get up and work, he will flee from you. When he is met with defiance, he will stop messing with you.
