Silicone Rhinoplasty Revision (Removal of Implant Asian, Silicon Implant Rhinoplasty):
Seattle Bellevue Beverly Hills Trained, Award Winning Author of a New Theory on Beauty & Facial Plastic Surgeon Dr. Philip Young presents an Asian Revision Rhinoplasty with a removal of a silicone implant and replacement with septal and ear cartilage graft with a new silicone implant in the nasal bridge dorsum only. Silicone can be safely used in the dorsum but it is not as safe in the tip. We use natural tissue in the tip using either septal or ear cartilage. This patient had near extrusion of the implant requiring removal of the implant and replacement with natural cartilage in the tip area.
