Hey everybody!!

Here is my 86th podcast to my very own personal radio show called, "The Andy Morales Show". This one focuses on an Andy Morales Show Special: 1980's Minneapolis Electro-Funk Music; the iconic sounds developed by the legendary 80's R&B/Funk musician Prince Rogers Nelson (a.k.a. Prince) during the years of 1981-1986. Recorded on: October 14, 2017; the actual day of when this program first aired way back in 2013. I hope all of you guys will enjoy my 86th podcast to, "The Andy Morales Show".

Songs on this show:
1. Sheila E. (a.k.a. Sheila Escovedo) - "A Love Bizarre, Parts I And II (12" Extended)" (Paisley Park / Warner Bros. Records - 1985) (*One of the most influential performers who worked alongside with Prince back in the mid-1980s. / Featured on her 2nd album, "In Romance 1600".)
2. Morris Day & The Time - "Cool (Part I - 7" Radio Edit)" (Warner Bros. Records - 1981) (*A well remembered Electro-Funk band formed by Prince in Minneapolis, MN. / Featured on their self-titled debut album, "The Time".)
3. The Family - "The Screams Of Passion (LP Version)" (Paisley Park / Warner Bros. Records - 1985) (*A short-lived group created by Prince in Minneapolis during the mid-1980s. / Featured on their only LP entitled, "The Family".)
4. André Cymone - "Get It Girl" (CBS / Columbia Records - 1982) (*Prince's original former bass guitarist during the early beginnings of his groundbreaking music career. / Featured on his 1st solo LP, "Livin' In The New Wave".)
5. Vanity 6 - "3 X 2 = 6" (Warner Bros. Records - 1982) (*An underrated track by Prince's infamous female vocal trio. / Featured on their only LP entitled, "Vanity 6".)
6. Mazarati - "Jerk Out (Unreleased Demo)" (Sunset Sound Studios; Hollywood, CA - 1985) (*A rare outtake from the band's recording sessions that was supposed to have been released on their self-titled debut LP from 1986. / Because of inappropriate lyrics, Prince kept the song stored away in his archives until Morris Day & The Time resurrected it in 1990; which became a monster hit single afterwards!!)
7. Jak (a.k.a. Jack Edward Bailey) - "Get Up Everybody" (CBS / Epic Records - 1985) (*An overlooked Prince clone from Albuquerque, New Mexico. / Featured on his only LP, "I Go Wild".)
8. Exotic Storm - "I'm My Own Person (LP Version)" (CBS / Epic Records - 1986) (*An under-appreciated Prince inspired group from Hopkins, MN. / Featured on their only album, "In The Beginning".)
9. Sam Bostic - "Cold Tears (LP Version)" (Atlantic Records - 1985) (*Another forgotten Prince clone who had a very short stint within the music business. / Featured on his only album, "Circuitry - Starring Sam Bostic".)
