A group of men had to catch a stray monitor lizard after it got lost in the streets of Bukittinggi, Indonesia.

The footage, shot on September 12, shows men using bags and cardboard boxes to try and catch the lizard.

It was eventually caught and released outside the city to protect it from hunters and dogs.
