Blakely was ready to compete at the Gymnastics Academy of Atlantas Mini Mardi Gras Invitational. Blakely competed as a Rec League Bronze Gymnast. It has almost been a year since Blakely broke her leg in a car accident. She is doing great and having a good time at gymnastics. She doesnt take her gymnastics quite as serious as her big sister, but that doesnt mean she doesnt want to win. At this meet, Blakely won second place on the vault and came in third for the all around. Blakely had not completely memorized her beam routine or her floor routine, but managed to knock them out with the help of her coach. We all had a fun time, and then it was off to everybodys favorite Mexican restaurant for chips and salsa!
