I needed to fully wash my Spats fursuit, after having it for over a year. \r \r I wanted to document and show how I am able to wash my suit, made by roofur.com \r \r The bodysuit and handpaws I was able to machine wash on delicate and cold, and dry on air only setting. \r \r The head and footpaws I am able to fully submerge, minus the eyes on the head. This removed all of the sweat and antiberial sprays from use. After rinsing using the same method, I used the washer on spin only to extr the majority of the water from the foam head and feet paws. Placing them on the fursuit dryer only took about 1 hour to fully dry from the inside out. \r \r Theoretically, I could have also washed the feetpaws in the washing machine too. And if the eyes were waterproof, I could have also washed the head inside the washer too wrapped in a pillowcase or the like. \r \r The whole process from wash to dry to brushing only took a little over 3 hours. \r \r Now everything is nice, shiny, and smelling fresh.
