Monday 18th of November 2013 at 19:28 (danish time) started a new “NASA mission”.
According to NASA It consist to send the MAVEN spacecraft up in the atmosfere of the red planet MARS that will reach its orbit monday 22th of september 2014.
MAVEN is set to be launched from a United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket during the 20-day launch period.
In the tower on Prags boulevard 43 at Copenhagen the orchestra REN OPTUR / AUDIONAUTS are here to performs sound ceremonies to the scientific space missions, they are checking the "sounds engines" that will musically accompany the right accellerations needed to the spacecraft to reach the orbit of Mars.
Angelo Pone filmed live this event in the tower and from the raw footages he has built up his own perception of the warming up and the soundcheck of the musicians. His introduction lasts for 8:30 minutes and then it glides, like a prelude, over into a new contemporary experiment made of light, sound, frequency and vibration by the Ren Optur / Audionauts.
