Are you interested in how-to needle felt basics for beginners but intimidated by all the fancy tutorials on Youtube? Do you want to try out a piece that requires a minimal amount of supplies and time? Then this is the tutorial for you!\r

When I first got started with needle felting, I learned by watching tutorials on Youtube, but was intimidated by the level of difficulty and supplies required. So I set out to create some easy tutorials that were great for beginners. I wanted to walk through each phase step-by-step. \r
\r
I created this Needle Felting for Beginners video to help all of you crafters out there who have never needle felted before. I call this little bear my hello bear. This video teaches you the very basic skills of needle felting, along with a ton of tips and tricks that I have learned along the way.\r

This is longer than most of my videos, but its because I walk through each of the little details that I typically skim over in my regular videos.\r

Supplies:\r
3 grams of yellow wool. I used Aclaine polyester wool by Hamanaka, which is great for beginners because it felts up quickly. But you can really use any color wool of your choice, and it doesnt have to be acrylic.\r
0.5 grams of red wool\r
1 large plastic eye pin\r
2 small plastic eye pins\r
a felting needle\r
a felting mat\r
glue\r
a pointy tool such as an awl or compass\r
optional but helpful: a felting pen\r
\r
Time required: approximately 30 minutes\r
\r
Difficulty level: easy/beginner \r
\r
