Putin begins two-day visit to Egypt, closer trade links & Syrian crisis on agenda

Russian President Vladimir Putin is scheduled to stay in Cairo for two days, to discuss with his counterpart Abdul Fattah el-Sisi about the possibility of securing closer military and economic ties between the two countries. Both leaders are also expected to talk about the current situation in Syria, along with coalition airstrikes against ISIS and their ineffectiveness. RT’s Paula Slier reports.
