Woman receives rescued puppy as birthday present

This is the moment a Virginia woman receives a puppy rescued from Hurricane Harvey as a present for her birthday from her boyfriend.
The footage, captured on September 16 in Bristol, Virginia, shows Teresa Bonilla getting emotional as she holds Houston, a 10-week-old hound mix, in her arms.
''I adopted a Harvey puppy from the Last Chance Animal Rescue organization. He was brought to the DC area through this organization all the way from Houston due to Hurricane Harvey and the resulting floods,'' Bonilla's boyfriend Mario wrote online.
"The day of my girlfriend's birthday party, I woke up at dawn to be 12th in line at the event. I got to the Petsmart around 6:30am even though the event didn't start until 11am.''
''Luckily I was able to pick out one of the puppies I had been eyeing on the organization's Facebook page,'' he continued.
''I took the puppy to my girlfriend's parent's house in Bristow Virginia, where I surprised her (and the whole family) with the puppy and a note "he" had written for her,'' he added.
