Check out my newest abandoned exploration video: \r \r This Video will show you how to make an aluminum air battery out of house hold items!! Very easy and powerful method if done correctlly.\r Each battery lets out about .5 volts. If you connect 2 more in a circut with an led bulb and boom!! you will have a lit up bulb. Each battery lasts about 3 weeks, but it is reccomended you change the salt water solution every 2 weeks to run your battery at optimum voltage.\r The anode oxidation half-reion is Al + 3OH− → Al(OH)3 + 3e− + −2.31 V.\r \r The cathode reduction half-reion is O2 + 2H2O + 4e− → 4OH− + +0.40 V.\r \r The total reion is 4Al + 3O2 + 6H2O → 4Al(OH)3 + 2.71 V.\r \r About 1.2 volts potential difference is created by these reions, and is achievable in price when potassium hydroxide is used as the electrolyte. Saltwater electrolyte achieves approximately 0.7 volts per cell.\r \r \r ------------What need you to make this Battery,-----------------------\r \r 1. Can\r 2. Water (about 2 cups give or take)\r 3. Salt\r 4. Copper Wire\r 5. Multimeter\r \r *********UPDATE***********\r \r If you add some Hydrogen Peroxide to the salt water solution, it should almost double your voltage!!!\r Dont add vinegar, I tried it and it doesnt work. ):\r \r Good Luck and Have Fun!!!\r \r Remember to RATE COMMENT OR SUBSCRIBE!!!!
