INDONESIA — Justin Hofman, an American photographer and activist for U.S.-based environmental conservation group Sea Legacy, was snorkeling recently in Sumbawa Island when he snapped a photo of a seahorse clutching a dirty cotton swab. He posted the image to his Instagram account, where it has since gone viral.
In his post of the photo on Instagram, Hofman expressed his worry about the future of marine life and how our actions will shape the planet we live in.
