Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories is an open world ion-adventure video game developed by Rockstar Leeds in conjunction with Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games. Released on 24 October 2005 for the PlayStation Portable, it is the ninth game in the Grand Theft Autoand was preceded by Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and succeeded by Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories. A port for the PlayStation 2 was released on 6 June 2006 in North America. At the time of release, the recommended retail price of the PS2 port was around half the price of the PSP version. The PS2 port does not feature the custom soundtrack ripping capability, in comparison to its PSP counterpart. It was released on 1 October new as a downloadable game on the revised PSP model PSP Go. It was also released for iOS and Android devices on 17 December new and 11th February 2016 respectively.\r
