A new hotel in Mexico is completely inspired by, and maybe a little buzzed off of tequila.

At the Matices Hotel de Barricas, guests go through the same maturation process as the liquor. Each night at the hotel equals one stage of the tequila aging process, from a "young" to an "aged" alcohol. Guests sleep in the middle of a large agave field in rooms shaped like tequila barrels.

Daily tours demonstrate the bottling process to visitors. There's also plenty of tequila to taste.

Sounds better than wasting away in "Margaritaville."
