Spain has many head-scratching traditions, but this odd annual celebration taking place in the Bay of Biscay may take the cake. The town of Lekeitio, located on Spain's northern coast in the autonomous Basque region, celebrated the Day of the Geese on Tuesday. The celebration, which is also called Antzar Eguna, is basically a contest in which participants cling to a greased-up goose neck hung on a rope suspended over the water and try to rip off the head.
