Corporate America bands together to save Harvey victims
  • 7 years ago
Some of the biggest U.S. companies are making moves to help those affected by Hurricane Harvey. The Home Depot Foundation is distributing $100 million to several organizations, including American Red Cross. Walmart is doing the same with a $1 million cash donation. Lowes will have its stores in Texas assist with the clean-up process and ship out needed supplies like water removal equipment, shovels, and bottled water. Want to join in on the effort? Connect with the National Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (NVOAD) online to either donate or become a volunteer. The American Red Cross is also accepting donations by phone or online. You can text HARVEY to 90999 or call 1-800-RED-CROSS.
