All summer long Minor League baseball mascots have suffered from underwear funk by dancing and sweating their way through the season in scorching temperatures. As the unofficial underwear mascots of Minor League baseball, Russell Athletic is offering mascots who hail from the hottest cities in America its odor-fighting FreshForce Performance Underwear—and records the story, documentary style.
The latest films dig into the strange worlds of these minor-league mascots—and the even stranger characters of their home towns. In the Las Vegas film, a group of locals “fix” a poker game to make sure Cosmo wins a pair of the FreshForce. In Albuquerque, a lab-coated scientist says, “Our work involves some deep scientific research"—and the camera pans to a white board with a drawing of Orbit that says “undies + desert = danger.”
