IHOP and Applebee's to close multiple locations

Both Applebee's and IHOP are set to close multiple locations this fiscal year. DineEquity Inc., who runs both chains, said that 105-135 Applebee's could close while IHOP could see 20-25 locations close. Despite the closings, both Applebee's and IHOP plan on opening more locations.
