A bizarre video has emerged from India of a train leaking so badly that the driver is forced to sit under an umbrella.

The filmer of the video asked for it to be shared widely to draw attention to the state of India's trains and alleged that officials had failed to fix leaking locomotives.

“Everyone talks about railway safety, but should train operators drive trains or try to stay dry,” he asked.

The popular Hindi newspaper Punjab Kesari said the video had been shot in a train from Jharkhand in East India.
