Rescuers save two tourists trapped in flooded river

Dramatic footage has emerged from China of two tourists rescued from a flooded river.

The video, captured in Mianyang, Sichuan Province on July 30, shows a man and a woman trapped on a rock in the middle of the swollen river.

Rescuers throw a rope towards them, which they tie to their waists in order to get hauled out.

Thankfully, they were both successfully rescued.
