Bangalore street covered in toxic foam

Footage has emerged of a street of Bangalore, India, covered in a white and reportedly toxic foam.

The video, recorded on May 28 in the neighbourhood of Whitefield, shows car and scooter drivers blowing away the foam as the rush past.

According to reports, the foam comes from the near by Varthur Lake which contains an abnormal amount of phosphorus and nitrate and can cause respiratory and skin problems.
