Sen. John McCain diagnosed with brain cancer

Arizona Senator and former presidential candidate John McCain has been diagnosed with a glioblastoma brain tumor. The tumor was discovered during a procedure to remove a blood clot near his left eye in Phoenix, AZ. “The Senator and his family are reviewing further treatment options with his Mayo Clinic care team. Treatment options may include a combination of chemotherapy and radiation." Many current and former members of Senate reached out to give support to Sen. McCain, including former president Barack Obama.
