Planes Scoop Water From Lake in Fight to Control Okanagan Centre Blaze

At least five water bombers were deployed to assist in fighting an out-of-control blaze at Okanagan Centre in the lakes country of British Columbia on Saturday, July 15.According to Castanet, there were unconfirmed reports of homes lost due to the wildfire.This footage shows water bombers scooping water out of Wood Lake.On the same day, evacuation orders were issued to residents living in the area of Loon Lake and some highways in and out of Cache Creek were closed to traffic, The Ashcroft-Cache Creek Journal reported.
