Obama is back on the political radar. The former POTUS is set to attend a private fundraiser that aims to help Democrats with redistricting efforts. Obama will be headlining the fundraiser and marks Obama's return to politics since his departure from the White House on January 20, 2017. Obama's spokesperson Kevin Lewis shed more light about the event: "Restoring fairness to our democracy by advocating for fairer, more inclusive district maps around the country is a priority for President Obama." The event will be held at former Attorney General Eric Holder's home in Washington, and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi will also attend.
