Nine injured as tornado tears through Chinese villages

Footage has emerged from China of the aftermath of a powerful tornado that tore through seven villages, injuring at least nine people.

The video, filmed in Yancheng, Jiangsu Province on July 2, shows more than a hundred houses, greenhouses, trees and power lines completely leveled by the storm.

Nine people were reportedly injured, with rescue work ongoing.
