Leadership Dallas is a leadership development program sponsored by the Dallas Regional Chamber aimed at providing the region with an ongoing source of diverse leaders, prepared and committed to serve as catalysts of positive change in the Dallas area. The class of 2017 chose as its’ project to build and fund a sustainable community garden for the Austin Street Center, the largest homeless shelter in Dallas. $200,000 was raised in cash and in-kind donations. The dedication occurred on May 20, 2017.
