Hello, it's Natural Bow Woman here.Today I'm going to show you how I do the Bowyer's Knot also known as Timber Hitch Knot for my English Longbow.

This string is a single loop string and I like it like that so that when so that when my string stretches I can just change and alter the size quite easily on my string.

I have one end that's a permanent loop,.and the other end that I like to alter either its length, brace height etc. It's really convenient rather than using the double loop.

I use a very old, timeless yet simple and effective method to secure and alter the string onto my English Longbow and when you watch the video you will see how you can easily learn to do it yourself
