Stranded beluga whale returned to its family in bi-national rescue

A beluga whale – part of the endangered St. Lawrence Estuary population – was returned to its family after going astray. Had Shedd Aquarium and Vancouver Aquarium not intervened, the beluga would have struggled to survive on its own.
