Record amounts of rain flooded South Florida on June 7, causing the Sawgrass Mills mall in Sunrise, Florida, to close.The parking lot of the mall was flooded, leaving cars stranded as others tried to plow through the water.The National Weather Service issued a flood watch for areas in South Florida until 8 pm on June 7. Throughout the morning, parts of Florida picked up over 10 inches of rain in just two days.
