At the age of 16, he attained the feeling of death, i.e; attained self realization without any effort. One day maharshi met with a person, who told that the person was coming from Arunachalam. On hearing the word Arunachalam, maharshi experienced a divine happiness. Without telling anyone he started to Arunachalam with 5 rupees writing a letter to his family.
