At least eight people were shot dead, including a sheriff's deputy, in Mississippi on Sunday. Authorities said that a suspect is in custody, although no charges have been filed. The shootings occurred at three different homes Saturday night in the state's rural Lincoln County. Police have yet to determine a motive and whether the suspect knew his victims.
