A neighborhood in Newport Beach, California, was flooded on the evening of May 24.Water from a mistakenly damaged seawall rushed into the Balboa Peninsula neighbourhood during high tide, as seen in this video from Danny Sullivan. Children and teenagers nonetheless had a good time paddleboarding and lying on floats.The seawall was taken out during house demolition work, residents told ABC7.
