The NBA has announced that the league's All-Star Game will be played in Charlotte in 2019. The three-day event, which features the All-Star Game, three-point shootout and slam dunk contest, will touch down in The Spectrum Center between Feb. 15-17 of 2019. Previously, the league and commissioner Adam Silver relocated the 2017 All-Star Game from Charlotte due to the state’s controversial House Bill 2, which was considered to be discriminatory to members of the LGBT community and cost the state millions of dollars from other canceled events.
