Spike Lee On Trump's Dancing: President ‘Could Be Impeached On His Rhythm’

Film director Spike Lee had some strong words for President Trump in a recent interview.

Film director Spike Lee has said that President Trump is not his president. He made the remark in a recent interview with the Hollywood Reporter after he was asked about his thoughts on Trump.
Lee said, “He’s not my president. I call him Agent Orange.” He then referenced Trump’s foreign trip, saying, “There was some clip I saw yesterday of him dancing with the Saudis that was just ludicrous. Not only is he not a good president, he can’t dance either.”
After Lee laughed, he added, “He could be impeached on his rhythm. He’s the clown with the nuclear codes.”
The director has had a history of speaking out against Trump and those who appear to be supporting him; last July, he blasted former Apprentice contestant Omarosa Manigault for agreeing to be the Trump campaign’s director of African-American outreach, notes USA Today.
And on January 19 of this year, Lee announced on social media that he had decided against using a song by Chrisette Michelle in one of his projects because she had agreed to perform at a Trump inauguration event, notes Deadline.
Despite his opposition to Trump, Lee refused to tell the Hollywood Reporter if he voted for Hillary Clinton, saying that she “comes with entitlement.”
The director had, in fact, been an open supporter of Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders; in a conversation with the Vermont Senator in late November, Lee said, “It was not Hillary Clinton’s birthright to be president of the United States of America!”
