The Texas State Athletics women's tennis team wore ribbons during today's first round match at the 2016 Women's Tennis Championship. The team's ribbons were worn in support of freshman Ana Perez, whose home country of Ecuador was hit with a major earthquake on Saturday. Ana, whose family is safe and was unharmed in the earthquake, won her singles match 6-2, 6-0 today in the No. 5 position for the Bobcats.
