One dead, several injured as speeding car runs through Times Square

A speeding car struck several pedestrian and killed one in New York’s Time Square on Thursday. New York Police confirm that several people were being treated for injuries. A car with a smoking hood that crashed into a pole on 45th and Broadway was posted all over social media. Fire trucks and police cars surrounded the area and blocked off traffic as officials investigate the situation.
