Jaden Smith Held His Hair on the Red Carpet

Jaden Smith walking the red carpet at the 2017 Met Gala with his hand in his hair is by far the strangest thing we’ve ever seen at the event.
By far.
Like, by a country mile.
We can’t quite figure out what he was doing… or more to the point, WHY he was doing it. There is a report out there that he brought his braids with him because his sister couldn’t make it as his date… but this might’ve been one of those times when going completely solo would’ve sufficed.
Then again, we have to remember that this was the night P. Diddy laid down on the carpet because he was a little tuckered out.
Then Katy Perry showed up in this ensemble.
And made us wonder what part of fashion this falls under.
At least we can say the Met Gala never fails to deliver.
