Virginia Journalists shot dead during live reporting

A television news reporter and cameraman in Virginia, was shot and killed on morning while reporting from the Bridgewater Plaza in Smith Mountain Lake. Alison Parker a morning reporter for WDBJ7, and Adam Ward, cameraman were killed. Vicki Gardner, who was being interviewed by Parker, was injured in the incident.
