An anonymous hacker released the whole upcoming season of Netflix’s ‘Orange Is the New Black’ after the website failed to respond to the hacker’s demands. Under the username ‘thedarkoverlord,’ the hacker released the first 10 episodes of season 5 of the popular Netflix series to file sharing website, the Pirate Bay. The hacker apparently made an extortion demand to Netflix but leaked the season when the company failed to comply. “It didn’t have to be this way, Netflix. You’re going to lose a lot more money in all of this than what our modest offer was.” The hacker also claims to have unreleased shows from ABC, Fox, National Geographic and IFC and is threatening to release them as well. “We are aware of the situation. A production vendor used by several major TV studios had its security compromised and the appropriate law enforcement authorities are involved." In a statement Friday, Netflix said:
