Researchers find lost Declaration of Independence in England
  • 7 years ago
Two researchers landed on a major discovery: a copy of the Declaration of Independence, like the one on display at the National Archives in Washington, D.C. Emily Sneff and Danielle Allen said the document, which was found inside the West Sussex Record Office, dates all the way back to the 1780s. Allen told CBS News. The major difference between the two copies is that the signatures in the new discovery is in no particular order, unlike the 1776 copy where each signature is listed by state.
