Karunanidhi declares assets of Rs 13 crore, doesn't even own a car

DMK President M Karunanidhi has declared assets of Rs 13.42 crore in his affidavit filed along with his nomination papers for the Tiruvarur assembly segment. He has declared that he does not have any immovable property or agricultural land. His wives have Rs 45.34 crore worth of movable assets. he has declared a total income of Rs 1.21 crore for 2014-15 and has Rs 50,000 as cash in hand. Karunandihi's personal wealth decreased substantially but his family's wealth increased by 40 percent.
