The Indonesian play ‘Silent Song of the Genjer Flowers’ explores testimony and remembrance to address Indonesia’s mass killings of 1965-66. Through the memories and experiences of women who survived the violence and persecution of the period, the play addresses the somber event from the perspective of the its victims.
