Former NFL star Aaron Hernandez, who was convicted of murder, commit suicide in a Massachusetts prison cell on Wednesday. The late 27-year-old New Englands Patriots player hanged himself using a bed sheet that he attached to a cell window, only days after being acquitted in a separate murder case. Officials attempted to save Hernandez Hernandez was serving a life sentence for a 2013 murder, and was acquitted on Friday in a separate murder case from 2012.
