The Polo Lounge (LA)
grubbersdelight.com The Beverly Hotel is a historical site, and the Polo lounge offers its guest a very memorable dining experience with lush green walls, leather booths and a huge patio hidden amongst flowering vines, pink archways and ancient oak trees. For the food, it is a bit pricy, at 36 dollars for a “kobe-stlye” burger, but is one of the most mouth watering burgers you will ever sink your teeth into. The Polo lounge, along with its great tasting burgers, offers an array of Cal-Asian cuisine, but, after taking in the atmosphere, the food almost seems secondary here. If it’s atmosphere you’re after, and there are no budgetary concerns, The Polo Lounge at the Beverley is a good choice; on the other hand, if you’re looking for bang for your buck, or simply a quality meal, it might be best to search elsewhere.
